What is Personal Information?

Personal information is anything relating to a person that can be used to identify them. This includes both manual paper records and digital records. Unauthorized access or loss of information can cause serious harm to people.

With this Mighty Kids Play Learning Center will ensure that personal information about students, parents and teachers are kept secure and highly confidential.

We will keep all data in a secure place and all must be processed fairly and lawfully.​ The data that will also be gathered will be adequate, relevant, and not excessive, and most importantly, it should be held no longer than for the purpose it was originally collected.​
In a school, examples of personal information would include:

a. Names and personal registration of staff and pupils,
b. Dates of birth,
c. Addresses,
d. National insurance numbers,
e. School marks,
f. Medical information,
g. Exam results,
h. Personal assessments and data, and
i. Staff development reviews.
